Looking at MS PAINT
In the last lesson you would have created a picture by producing the background and then adding a boat to it. It may look something like this one Jarvis produced:
This picture is nice and the background and boat are very simple.
Have a look at this picture postcard:
Can you see how much more detail the background has and the boat has. By looking at this picture (and a little help from a friend!), Hannah was able to produce this picture:
To do this she spent more time in creating both the background and boat she wanted and used the spray paint to create the effects.
The two pictures were merged and then the magnifying glass tool (zoom) was used to change details in greater detail. The picture she has completed is far more complex than those she created in Lesson 6. It is well worth the extra time!
Task for you = Produce a picture that is more complex. Take your time and perhaps use something like a postcard or picture to copy or to at least give you ideas. When you have completed it make sure I see it after you save it!
